Hello all,
I've been lurking around this website for quite some time and this morning I got that much anticipated phone call that I've been waiting for! I was accepted into an LPN program! I'm so excited. I was just wondering if any one else has recently been accepted, what to expect, any advise would be much appreciated! I can't wait to start! April 27th is day one! I can't believe I got in! Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom. I'm looking forward to getting to know my fellow LPN students.

Good for you! Get yourself organized for school. Set up your study area, get supplies like paper, pens, colored markers. Get a big wall calendar or desk calendar to put assignment deadlines on for easy view. If you aren't doing an exercise/good health plan already, start one. Can be simple. Helps to relieve stress. And relax, because you are going to be busy after the 27th of April!
Thanks for the advice. I'll try to relax until then. I know I'm going to be super busy between school and work. :)

I was accepted into my program a year ago, but due to how full it is I had to wait a whole year...now I am starting april 1st, only a week away and I am sooo nervous and excited at the same time!!! I just hope I make it through, I hear it is a really intense program.

that is great. get organized now and work really hard when school starts. it is hard but it will be worth it. i remember how excited i was when i got in. the end will be here before you know it. i have one test left before graduation next week. whatever you do not get to do while you are too busy studying, you can catch up on later. it is only a small amount of time for such a reward. again congrats!

Congratulations!!!! I just got accepted into my program yesterday, it was so nerve wracking. They had 15 spots left and this was the last orientation (you need to attend orientation to be accepted into the program) I had all my papers, resume, recommendations, background check all handed in already. After orientation, they told us we needed to wait to call until after 1 pm to see if we got it. We had a few hours inbetween, but I went back to school around 1230 and called from the parking lot and got no answer. I saw other people from orientation go into admissions so I went inside and they told me I was accepted!!!!! I had to pay right then for my first semester to save my seat. Phew, it was a rough day but worth it. (sorry that went on for so long, I'm just so relieved and excited). I start in April 8th, so I'm trying to get all my books and stuff together now so I can relax a few days before chaos begins.
Congratulations! I am sure we will do great if we are focused and determined! Good luck to you!!
