Take a big deep breath! You should be fine to take it in 30 days, especially if you have already been studying on and off. I think the most beneficial thing that I did was to do as many practice questions I could get my hands on. I think the other thing was to keep myself calm (I know, haha) but seriously, try not to freak yourself out. Just keep studying, I'm sure you will be fine! :) Another helpful thing is to find somebody to study with - ask each other questions and what they think is important. Good luck!
OMG I misread my ATT. Its 11-3-2008, somehow I read September. Yeah, its not 30 days. Still can't procrastinate though. Instead of the 3 week review I want to do the 5 week, the 8 week would be better but can't afford it.
Breathing better, but good grief how could I have misread that thing.
I wish I could afford to go to a live review. We had one before graduation back in March/April. It was Kaplan and I loved it, the teacher was great. Since its been since May when I graduated I know some kind of review course is needed. I do questions on Kaplans q-bank but only get 58-62% My q-bank expires Aug 21st so I won't be able to use it too much longer.
I felt the more beneficial part of the Kaplan review course is the online component that they provide you vs. the in class portion. Plus just keep looking for a new test time daily and should pop up as people change their days and times more frequently than you would imagine. Good Luck!
I did not know that. I am SO not a morning person and the idea of having to take an exam at 8am when I know I'm not my best scares the heck out of me.
I don't even know which city to take it in, Louisville or Lexington. I am supposed to have gotten a job in Lexington, but I haven't gotten a salary quote or a start date. I'd hate to schedule it for Lexington and the job fall through, but then I'd hate to schedule it for Lousiville and start working in Lexington over 60 miles away.

I registered for the NCLEX-RN last night and got my ATT today via email. I only have until September 3rd to take the NCLEX!!!
I though for sure I'd have longer than that!!!!!! I've been studying off and on since graduation, but now I only have a bit over 3 weeks to finish studying. I wasn't stressing before now, NOW I'm stressing. AND to top it all off the only available time to test is at 8am...I am so NOT a morning person. I guarantee I'll be up all night stressing its just the way I am. I sooo do not want to fail this exam. I'm signing up for the 3 week review course on the NCSBN website, and I shall be reading and re-reading my Saunders even if it is the 3rd edition. Why KY only gives you 30 days to take your exam is beyond me.
