Well I had my appointment at 1 pm today to take this dreaded NCLEX!! LOL I had the minimum of 85 questions, but I really feel like I didn't know half of what I was being asked, I know from other posts that this is the norm but it doesn't make it better!!! I had about 10 med questions the rest were here and there. I imagine the 10 med was because that was always a weak link of mine! I pray and will continue to pray for the next 2 days while I must wait to find out how I have done! Please pray for me as well! Thank you all!!!!

I know they say that the number of questions has nothing to do with how well you did or didn't do, but what are my odds? I mean if I was able to make it through nursing school, shouldn't I be smart enough to pass this test?!?! I used the Saunders 3rd edition. and I hope I studied enough cause I don't really want to do this again!!!

most of the people i know (about 15 people from last semester) who took the nclex-pn with 85 qs all passed. your odds are great. i hope you make it. good luck.

keep us posted.

Odds are wayyy in your favor. 85 questions is a very good number :)

Hi tricialynn78- I took the NCLEX last Thursday and I feel exactly the way you do! I too got 85 questions and felt like I was reading a foreign language at times. I got tons of SATA and priority. Usually priority questions are fairly easy, but not these questions.

I studied ALOT, and I don't remember getting asked about alot of the stuff on that test.

I'm glad you live in a state that gives you quicker results (darn California!) Please let us know how you did, I'm rooting for you!

Hello:

I am right there with you. I took my NCLEX today and it cut off at 85 questions ~ I really felt dumb taking this test! I only had 1 peds drug calculation question and 1 cultural question ~ most of mine were "choose all that apply" ~ a lot of the drugs I had never heard of!!! I am very nervous.

Hoping we all passed!!

Thanks for the words and thoughts! Its 24 hours into my wait and I have been checking the website since late last night, LOL. I just cant seem to wait. I know that the results will take 48 hours but i just keep hoping that I will log in and it will say Quick results available!!!! and that I would have passed! I have gone over in my head some of the questions and I still second guess if I answered it correct! Hoping that we all pass and become the nurses we want to be! Good luck to the rest of you who are waiting for results as well!!! We can do it! We are smart!!!!

Hello:

Well I passed!! I can't believe it ~ I felt like each and every one of you when I walked out of the testing facility ~ but everyone in our class (7 so far) have taken the NCLEX, had it cut off at 85 questions, felt we hadn't done well on the test, and ended up passing!

Good luck to you. It's so hard to wait those 48 hours ~ I just stayed busy, busy, busy.

I knew it! Congratulations nurse!! You must be thrilled, and rightfully so. Go celebrate, and make sure hubby/boyfriend/whatever indulges you!! :yelclap:

I took my Nclex PN today. It shut of at 87....random number. I honestly feel bad about the whole thing, I knew some things but not the majority of questions. It's like I had no clue what they were asking. I have to wait a whole weekend to find out..........If you passed congrats and well done.

I don't know what to do during the wait.......it's nerve wrecking.

I can't even do anything. The posts on here are keeping me positive but I don't feel it.............
