I grad Dec 16 and I took the test Feb 21.. If I could do it over again I would have done it a week or two earlier...

I got my results via pearson vue 48 hours later.. HTH

I graduated Dec 10th and am taking mine on Saturday. I would have taken it earlier but had a few logistical issues. Most of my classmates took theirs the end of Jan/beginning of Feb.

I have read and were told it takes 3-6 weeks of good review before the exam, it just depends on how much time daily you can invest into it. Some people put in 20 hours, some put in 200. It all depends on how much study time you need. Not everyone graduates ready to take the NCLEX, but some do.

I was always told you should take the NCLEX within 3 months of graduation. The more you are on the floor as a graduate nurse, you become more aquainted with "real world nursing" as opposed to "textbook nursing" as the NCLEX requires.

I graduated May 21st, took the NCLEX about one month later and got my results in 2 days (posted on the BON website for Pennsylvania).

Dont wait too long to take the NCLEX though- like I said, NCLEX is textbook nursing with no time limitations, real world nursing is quite the opposite.

I graduated December 16th and took NCLEX on February 2nd. Personally, I think the sooner the better, although I'd allow 2-3 weeks for studying. No more time is really necessary, especially if you've been studying all along.

I think people run into more trouble by not studying a little bit all through school. I studied the Saunders book and did a few CD Saunders questions almost every day throughout my program.

i graduated dec 15 and took the exam feb 27. if i had to do it all over again, i would take it 2 weeks earlier. i read somewhere that it's best to schedule the exam within 2 months after graduation.

just got my results today (mar 1)!!! :D

I graduated Dec 20th and took mine on Feb 20th. I also wished I had taken it earlier. I got my results online in EXACTLY 48 hours (believe me, I checked hourly)
