Congrats on finishing your test. Take a deep breath! Now when you were answering your questions did you eliminate? Did you feel confident in your answers? On your nursing exams did you have good intuition if you passed or failed? If you did do you feel like you passed or failed this exam. Sometimes talking it out is helpful.

I used elimination. During school I had a pretty good idea of questions I got right and wrong. I really super hope I passed. I do not want to have to take it again!

So do you feel good about this exam or feel like you didn't do well?

I feel good. But I'm just an overall nervous person. A cant decide if I should do the PVT or not.

Nothing to help you with at this point, but we can wish you well :)

SATA questions are indicative of nothing, as are the breakdown of types of questions. What DOES mean something is that you finished in the minimum amount of questions required. You either did very well and the computer could determine quickly you were competent, or you did very poorly and the computer could determine quickly you were incompetent.

Given the kind of student you were, the school's passing rate, grades you received....how you prepared for the NCLEX....which scenario do you think is more likely? Now consider that about 90% of all US-educated new grads do pass on their first try....and I'd say your odds are very good.

Skip the PVT. It will not tell you a blessed thing. If you are unable to schedule another exam, you will be happy you *might* have passed. But you will still be unsure, because these aren't results, it's a trick. And if you ARE able to schedule another exam, well....you will feel like crap, probably freak out....and in the end the likelihood is that you will pass regardless of the PVT.

And finally, MOST people feel like they failed....when MOST of the time, they PASSED. Human nature.

Does your State participate in Quick Results? If so, pay the eight bucks in two days and be done with it :)

Just Breathe.

Wait until you get the now that you have taken the NCLEX email. Good luck!

My state does things pretty fast. If I passed the board of nursing will have it posted on their website tomorrow. =D so I don't think the quick results is very relevant here.
