Hello my peers, I just found out that I failed my NCLEX exam and I feel horrible, The feeling of failure and knowing I let my family and myself down is horrible, this was my first attempt at taking it and i was obviously not ready.... my problem now is I'm so confused on what to study,, I dont know where to start again ... apperently the last time i studied it wasnt good enough..So i ask for help today.. any tips? What are some good books or review classes I can take ? Anyone know a helpful schedule i can go by?
Im done feeling sorry for myself and sad, I just want to get back into my study grind and focus on my goal.. my dream career is to become a Nurse and I'm halfway there. I just need alittle encouragement and positivity and i will be okay
P.s. I know of the changes that are going to be made to the test next month, bt im confused on how that will change the grading and test content , anyone else aware of these changes? please i would love to hear it thank you guys

Hey first thing I would say is congrats on getting back on the horse. I would make sure to make a study plan and include reviewing things you know you are weak in. After you do that then try to read and re-read chapter 5 in the Saunders book for the test taking strategies
(if you have that book). Those strategies are a life saver because you wont know about every topic they give you, but if you know how to apply the strategies you should be able to move forward with answering. The next thing to consider would be to start doing questions questions questions!!! I used NCLEX 4000, Saunders CD, prep-u 10,000, and a little bit of that ncsbn online program . Also make sure to do plenty of SATA style which can be found under alternate style on the Saunders CD or NCLEX 4000. Just depends on what materials you use. Make sure you know what best works for you and not just what everyone is doing. Be confident and start practicing how to relax while doing questions. Good luck to you in your future studying!
