It looks like I have about 8 classes to go before I am done with my BSN, so I went ahead and enrolled today!
Hopefully there are a few others of you out there that can guide me through this.

I chose Chamberlain because they accepted all my credits. I've been going to the local Communtiy College since 1986! I only had to do 10 of the 14 classes for the BSN. The reason I didn't choose Excelsior is that you have to videotape yourself doing a head to toe assessment. Horrors, I don't want my fat behind on a video. Chamberlain isn't cheap, but they are painless, and between financial aid, grants, awards, and work reimbursement I haven't had to pay out much. I'll graduate in July, way ahead of my coworkers who chose traditional BSN programs. Bottom line, you have to do what works for you.

so, now i'm nervous about ec and the bsn, i just enrolled in rn-msn because it was easy to just stay put. i know i may need some upper level gen eds, but i'm hoping that's all...arg! so, are they not as lenient with accepting credits for the bsn as they were with adn? i felt like i got pretty good transfer credit there, i don't have any previous degrees, but lots of credits! oh, i hate waiting, and classes start monday...i'm supposing at this point, i'll just bite it and go on. i've heard good things about the program overall, just hoping not to spend too many thousands more in education before i die!!
My nurse manager is doing EC's BSN, and loves it. She may continue with them for the MSN as well. We all know EC is a quality school -- I'm sure you'll do fine and the price tag won't be too bad. :)
