I have been reading this blog now for months to find motivation or something to that could help me refocus after not being successful with my Nclex exam. I was a LPN for 8 years and could not understand why I failed it.
1. Have faith in GOD, and allow him to lead you. Believe that it will happen in his time. While you are waiting HE is creating your dream or opening a position to start your path.
2. I used everything under the sun. But what worked for me is Prioritization and Delegation by Lacharity. It really structured my critical thinking skills. And Hurst. We as nurses know the content, but just need to be refreshed on what we already knew . Kaplans strategy book shows different ways to answer the questions. If you use all three along with doing practice question you will do well.
3. Trusting God and yourself really is half the battle. You can studying everything, but if you don't believe you won't achieve.
I screamed it out all my failures, and said you will not take over me. I got this. Spent the last 10 days before my Nclex exam studying day and night.
I passed 10/1 with 75 questions. I knew I passed and believed in my heavenly father and nursing angels.
when you enter the exam writer on your erase board "I got it, and God is with me" I did this and believed it.
God luck and God bless.

Amen sister I have been an LPN for five and couldn't understand why, but it's not about that. Its about when and when its your time its your time. I believe more than ever I got it this time and I know the lord wouldn't bring me this far to leave me. Congrats to you dear and I claim it in advance that I too will post my success story to how I too passed the nclex by the grace of the good lord above.

Congrats on passing your boards! Did you only study for 10 days or did I read that wrong?

congrats
Thanks Hun,I studied on and off throughout the summer, but I kicked it in overdrive the last 10 days before my exam. I did the studying like a Maniac ordeal. And that didn't work for me. It not how long you study, but how effective you learn.
thanks
You will and it's an amazing feeling to pass on the love. thanks

I just found out I failed my NCLEX I will retest in 45 days very disappointed but I know everything happens for a reason . I believe I will pass this 2nd time . I never imagined failing after all the time I studied & prayed . But I still have faith & I'm going to give it another try next month
