Goodluck to future nurses!!!
hello to all who are in great deal of anxiety due to the July 11-12,2006 Nursing Board exam... i have heard alot of things because of the leakage issue, but what can we do??? well all i can do is tell every one what i have heard whether its the truth or not...
1. a review center was accused of having a leakage (duh everybody knows that)
2. the BON decided that all those who reviewed in the said review center will be erased from the list of passers (is it true?)
3. if ever that number 2 will be done instead of 30,000 passers it will be cut off to 26,000
4. earlier i recieved a message that the PRC will not do what was said in number 2 due to the reason that there were no proof of the said leakage.
5. if ever the reviewees from the said review center will not be removed the highest score would be 99.1%
6. the result will be release on July 16, 2006
ano ba talaga ang totoo??!!!
if there was a leakage then bahala na si Lord sa kanila, as long as we (who were not able to grab hold of the leakage) do our best... there were issues of leakage in the past and injustices still prevailed
BUT
if there was no truth to this accusations bahala na rin si Lord sa gumawa ng issue...
God is a Just God!!!
God Bless us all....:)
exactly.Be careful on what you post, esp. that you've cited a specific name.gosh i wasnt able to sleep!! waaaa!!! my heart kept on pounding since last night everytime i would think of the result! i still can't access the PRC site and so with manila bulletin!i am aware of the protocols madpoets. however, in a 1st hand info from R.A's cousin Bob, R.A.G. told him that the questions were handed by the BON to him personally even before it was submitted to the authorities/database. as in matagal na nya nakuha yon.. he kept it and gave it to the reviewees the night before the exam lang. kaya sa baguio, laging walang pasok ang mga Gapuz reviewees, and even before the exam, all of them were so confident and complacent that they even wanted to take the exam na earlier than june 11 yun pala its because they were informed not to worry because something will come out on their "closed door meeting"... if you are aware of the new book of Letty Kuan, yung Bioethics na white, most of the review centers there were only able to get a copy of that book like a week before the exam, pero sila, start pa lang ng review meron na silang copies pero walang nagshare kahit kanino..
so un... i hope all of us will pass despite of all of these!!
Goodluck to all!
I would be interested in how this thing turns out.
just to give another perspective to the issue:well all i can do is tell every one what i have heard whether its the truth or not...1. a review center was accused of having a leakage (duh everybody knows that)

the prc board of nursing can issue a resolution charging the concerned examinees with immorality, gross misconduct, fraud and deceit for allegedly cheating in the board exams.
they detect this by statistical examination.
so the prc is not entirely powerless, even if it does not have evidence of the alleged cheating.
but with the previous posts outlining the persons involved, and the mechanism of the alleged cheating, i think the prc has some leads on how to go about the investigation.
im sorry, im new here and i just wanted to share a fact, not a fallacy.. tell u what, a first hand info is a first hand info.. its really up to whether to believe or not but i wouldnt want to be wasting my time writing such if they werent real.. and as far as the leakage is concerned, im pretty much more aware of what was happening because i was there, and i took the exam in Baguio, and the person who spilled out the information happened to be a good friend, and a classmate..students in baguio rally in front of the PRC and city hall everyday, and even today, holding their evidences, the leakage. and they will never stop until further investigation be done about the incident..deans of the universities their hold meetings every now and then agreeing to the complaints of the students... spilling out these information to the press, how can one post in a thread make a difference in every aspiring nurse's concept of justice? we'll never know. talk about the principle of veracity and justice...
anyway, good luck to all of us!

i think nobody in their right mind would want to cover up the issues of cheating (if ever there is...) but one has to be proven guilty in the court of law (have you heard of 'due process')... but, not like this... not in this thread... that is tsismis, and you're misleading the rest of the weary testtakers... they had they share of anxiety coz of the delay of result... pls don't add up anymore... i advise that you seek a lawyer first and file your complaint in the PRC...
[... spilling out these information to the press, how can one post in a thread make a difference in every aspiring nurse's concept of justice? we'll never know. talk about the principle of veracity and justice...
and please review your nursing notes so you'll understand 'justice'... first of all, i think your concept of justice is not applicable in nursing practice (no offense meant)... when you say "justice" in nursing - it refers to who will benefit the most... i hope i don't sound lecturing you but you can always check your notes for verification....

yup, i'm sure prc would apply the same procedure... but i really hope that they would release the result first... then, those involved in the issues should be addressed separately (say the alleged complaint of the baguio peeps)... it's unfair to everyone (not involved) to be dragged in the issue... i mean 92 peeps (that's only .002%) compare to... the rest of the june 2006 nle takers...
i hope we'll have the result soon, so people can start applying for jobs na ... according to our source, the result is ready but was delayed due to .... haaayyy whatever....

Cher, but its already PNA who is telling BON there was a leakage, how could BON still say there is none? isnt it that BON are members of the PNA ? so they are still under the PNA somehow.
owner of this blog www.pinoybsn.tk is a nursing student from fatima (though he claimed to be 'matalino' daw sya
