Who took the exam? I graduated last april 2006 and a candidate to take the exam but I decided to take the december 2006 examination instead hoping for a better score.
I heard a rumor that a review center in baguio had a leakage of the whole NP V and NP III exam, its quite a news in our university as well as in other local forum and other schools.
some of my friends who review on that particular review center confirmed to me that , YES, they had a leakage of around 50 items, most of which are asked in the NP V exam.
My friends attended the same review center but , it in its MANILA branch.
The leakage given to them was in a QUESTION AND ANSWER FORMAT. there are no choices, just the question and the right answer. It was given to them the evening before the exam.
In any case that it will be proven by the board that there was a leakage, the exam results will be forfeited and there will be a retake.
I'd like to put this thing to closure once and for all. The review center being mentioned did not give any leakages. What the center gave was a handwritten document of tips for the exams. I'd like to reiterate that there were no leakages at all. The students who are protesting should stop and shut up!
I do believe in the integrity of the BON!
I hope that the recent takers of the Board exams will just wait for the results and stop these nonesense about leakages etc. I believe it won't be too long and we will all get the results. To the 91 students who filed complaints against PRC, I hope that PRC won't file a counter complaint against you in the future.

I'm just wondering what if those 91 students who filed their complaint will be included in the topnotchers? How will they react to this? Hmmm...that will be interesting.......

Yeah, that would be an interesting twist to all of this. A reason why the more I think that we should at least wait for the result. Then again, if indeed they have a solid proof of the allegation; it would take out the impact.
As days go by, I'm taking this whole " leakage and mobilization " issue as a double edge sword. At one end, I am glad that this 91 got the audacity to stand up fight this cause. It shows critical awareness and courage. This somehow shows that the nursing sector in the Philippinse have the backbone to stand and fight for what is not fair. If the local news is true that they have indeed mobilized as far as the congress to investigate the issue-- well and good, and kudos in the name of good governance and accountability in the profession.
The other edge, is the self centered motivation. The part where I wish, that somehow they should at least wait for the result to come out. Being one of those thousands who took the exam, the anxiety and wanting to know how I fared the exam won't just let me sleep.
... if only PRC or BoN would come up with a current press release to let the public know of what has been done. It would really help...

yeah, ive read that article in abscbn.. so that means the release will push through this sunday? thats what ive read from other forums... just not sure if its really happening. hope so..
in a newbie here, anyway, rumors have it that exam results usually come out on a sunday... could be seen early morning in the internet... dont know how true but i think the dec board last year came out on sunday???... well, there's nothing left to do but wait, pray and hope...
