June 2015 Parkland SICU Residency

Hello all! I just wanted to start a thread to see who else applied for the June 2015 Parkland SICU residency. Also we can keep up to date on the process! Good luck to all who applied!

Does anyone know parkland's pay for their nurse residents? I have a friend who is wanting to apply next semester and is wondering. thanks : )

I interviewed last Tuesday as well for the SI residency and have not heard back yet. But I do know that was the last day for interviews. A girl in my class interviewed on the 10th and was offered the position the following Wednesday and they told her to let them know by Friday at noon. I'm not sure if they have made all their selections for the residency, I know they were only hiring 6-8. If anyone else has any additional information please share!

It's been a week. They told me they would make a decision the week I had my interview but nothing yet.

They have extended many offers to people and the lady said that there may be one more position available. So there's still hope for all of you who are waiting on a reply.

They start their residents off at $24.52/hr. After 16 weeks, you move up to RN I pay.

if you get out before the contract ends, do you owe the same amount or does it decease over time? asking for a dec 2015 applicant--I think the contract scares some people away!

I believe RN I pay is between 27-28. And, I am not sure if the contract is prorated or not. That is currently something I am trying to find out.

Did everyone on the July posting already start the internship? I have a interview on August 12. Can y'all tell me what kind of interview questions they asked? Also, what is the schedule like? Any information would be helpful thanks!!!!

yea, I emailed the recruiter that day and got an answer . I didn't get it :)
