Join in the discussion if you are graduating in June and planning to take NCLEX in July. Lets study together and support each other. This test is gonna be harder after April, so we need all the help we can get and I want to pass this thing on the first go 'round.
I just took my test this morning and the computer shut off at around 110 questions (I wasnt counting anymore because i was going for the 265 after I pass 75 questiohs). I tried the trick about 5 times, it says i have to contact my board of nursing. Im praying the trick works. Good luck to all of you July test takers.
ok, i will be a second time test taker next thursday for the rn exam. the first time i took the test in june, and i only did questions just to do them, not reading why i got it wrong, or right. i did a review rhinehart the makers of the exam cram book in which they teach sooo quick in 3 long days that i couldn't focus. now i think i’m ready even though i can hardly remember test questions on my last test, i remember the priority questions in general. i have invested in lacharity book in which i am doing well in; this books had really open my eyes. i am doing the exam cram review book in which i have read once ( a chapter a day) and now re-reviewing content online with live lectures and making note cards and continuing to rewind the video if don’t understand it until i get it. i am up to 1000+ questions from all sources. i have read the kaplan book in which i really like and it help to find out what the question is really asking like pick out the stem, rearrange the question in my own words, eliminate the incorrect answers and etc. my confident has increase daily in which i hope that this is a good sign for success. if there is any question that i ask for repeat test takers and first......when do u know that ur ready to retake the exam......i feel good right now, but i know, i can shoot myself back down easily.
thanks for all ur support, i come to this website daily for inspiration in hopes that i can inspire others someday.
Took the test Friday, shut off at 75, had about 24 SATA, did the PVT 2x, found my name on the board today....i passed!!!!!! this is one of the best birthday gifts ever.....
i learned a lot from this site,
Congratulations to those who have passed and success to those who are yet to take the test
I took my NCLEX RN today..I had 102 question (weird:uhoh3:)..I did not have lot of SATA's(9-10) but i had so many other format questions (hot spot, exhibit, look at picture and tell what it is?, EKG strips).. I was about to pass out:barf01:...i did have lot of priority questions, but not that many infection control...I came home and tried the PVT, it did give me good pop up...I hope it works...Because I think I did horrible...Will post once I get official results on Friday...Good luck to all other who are waiting to take NCLEX...

Took my NCLEX-RN today - 75 questions!! I got the "good" pop-up, but who knows! :/ Keeping my fingers crossed.
I had a pretty mixed test. Only 1 med question, at least 7 SATA questions, lots of peds content, some nutrition, PHARM (yuck), 4 infection control. If felt pretty 50/50 between prioritization and questions evaluating knowledge of patho. A few delegation, but not as many as I expected there to be.
Good luck to everyone!
