hello everyone! im a foreign grad at a university and also an RN in my country before i mirgrated here..and i just passed my nclex-rn for california.. i have to transfer it here in washington and they say it will take for about a month or two... i am currently working as a CNA in a nursing home for a year now. i dont have any formal experience as an RN before.. i just want to ask if do you know any hospital that has a residency program for a newly grad/no experience RN? preferrably around seattle area... what should be my next step? do i need any certifications or seminars?aside from the HIV/AIDS? what should i do to stand-out from all other newly grad RNs? im sorry i got too much questions... im so confuse and anxious..i dont know how and where to start my career... Yyaaahhhooooo!!! I passed! Im now r.n. Thanks god.. Thanks for the prayers guys the pearsonvue trick wassss ttrruueee! I got the good pop-up and today i check the california boards and i saw my name and license number!!!! Yeesss!!! Im still in shock!

when u tried the trick the pearson vue website still has a Note saying.......... SPECIAL NOTICE: This website is scheduled to undergo routine maintenance on 10 July from Saturday, 6:00 p.m. CT- Sunday, 6:00 a.m. CT. During this time, you may not be able to schedule, reschedule or cancel test appointments. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your patience. im just curios and having a big doubt at the same time.im have thoughts that the site is on maintenane and the pop up is just because of it..i tried the trick before the said time and tried it again today still got the good pop up....i went to pearsonvue website again and the special notice is still posted.. what do u think???

i cant help it..i tried the trick 3x and i got the good pop up..but still i dont wanna believe it 100%... i'll just keep on praying till i have the official results at my hand... i guess after 2weeks or so...

i just took my exam today 8am and i got like 100 q's more on pharma meds..no calcutaions but a lot of meds and psych, a bit of OB and 1 ECG strip..less than 10 SATA q's i dont know what to feel.. i think i failed

i will be praying for all of us.. what u are doing now for your exam guys?? im so anxious i want to relax but i just cant.. i got 5more days left and i cant hardly sleep at night..

i am taking my nclex-rn this saturday july 10...pls pray for me..im really anxious coz this will be my 2nd time.. and heres my study plan:::: i attended excell review for 10 days in california where they discuss all theory..they have given us studybook to focus on..so im using that book for theory and it really helped a lot i think coz its straight to the point... after that i have 30dvd's of theory lectures by review for nurses..its also good bECause u can always go back to the topics that you are weak and have them explain it to you and also they practice u on test taking techniques.. i have to divide my time to that dvd's like 6-8 dvd's a day...and after that..i try to answer questions from kaplan and Examcram like 250 q's a day... and i cant believe it because after all the theories ive learned it is much easier to answer questions..in which before i find it very difficult..sort of high level difficulty questions..... ive been studying since may2010 and im goin to take it on july10 for the 2nd time... please pray for me.. i hope we will all pass goodluck and godbless everyone! stay positive.. do your best and god will give the rest...

just wondering..how to do the pvt..i wanna try it but im so scared.. hmm i took my test this morning and i got 75q's more on prioritization,delegation,pharma and SATA... im so clueless i dont know what to expect right now.. still im not losing hope :)

hi im goin to take my exam on monday march15.. i have a lot of review materials but i cant seem to finished either one. i got saunders,kaplan,exam cram for nclex,mnemonics book and my old old old notes from my local board in the philippines.. my advice is try to focus more on ur weak side and practice more test taking strategies..and also some basic calcutation on pharma.. thats what im doin now... iknow that if we'll do our best god will take care of the rest.. just believe and have faith.. nothing is impossible with him... godbless us all

nope i graduated in philippines year 2007.. i passed my local exam there but since i moved here i need to take another exam w/c is the nclex... huhuhu im so tired of studying..i cant focused
