Hey All! Let's Support one another!

When are you taking your exam?

What are you using for study?

How long have you been preparing?

What are you focusing on for the next few weeks?

Me:

First week of July!

Saunders Comp review, PDA, Nclex 4000, and a Hurst Packet. (Might try for KAPLAN)

I Will officially start studying April 19th!

Fluid and Electrolytes, Pharmacology, Cardio, and Endocrine!

How about you all!?!?

What is Exam Cram. I've heard about it before, but never paid much attention to it? Does it help you? As for advice, know your core content, that's why I love Hurst so much, it really focuses on the core content and give you tips and tricks what to look for in your NCLEX question

Did u do the online course of Hurst? How many hours a day did u study with Hurst? (im sorry for asking so many questions, im working full time and i wanna make sure i will be able to finish the course with my busy schedule) Thanks!

Yes, I did the online review with Hurst. you get it for 90 days and at first I did one video each day. After that I went back to do the ones I "didn't get" or couldn't remember well. You have to print out a "textbook" and they have many fill in the blanks, but if you sit with your book while you're watching the movie, it's very easy to figure out what belongs in there. In my opinion Hurst is well worse it and you can work at your own pace (within those 90 days). Watch whenever the video and you have unlimited times to do so (again, within the 90 days). Most videos are 45-60 min long, so it's not bad at all!

Hi All I took nclex last week and failed it im over the fact now..but I have been using my nclexpn reviews and using Ati.....45 days in counting:)

I have Mosby's Nursing Drug Cards. Bought them at Barnes and Nobles I believe. You can probably buy it at any book store or at Amazon. I've been also practicing the suffixes on Patho Drug Suffixes flashcards | Quizlet. Helps a lot!

i am using the same materials also

dont be nervous....yes you must focus on your weakness because its your strengths would help you pass...i took my nclex last month and i did not pass, so right now am focusing on my weakness.

Well I just won a free Kaplan course, so I guess I will be doing questions from Kaplan's Q-Bank, which I heard were great! @LuckyMelissa: What did you do study the first time? What will you do differently this time?

I have to try out Mosby's Nursing Drug Cards. The information I have about Pharm comes from the people I got in contact with on allnurses.com! Hopefully it helps

Hello,

Sorry to hear that you failed...I did too. I plan to write in the summer. What tools did you use the first time you wrote the exam?
