I just applied for the 2014 Fall JJC nursing program. I am freaking out over my scores and gpa. I just want to know what other people have gotten and if my scores are good enough to get in. TEAS Comp. 79% TEAS Reading 86% Gpa:3.3 and I have completed all my pre reqs.

Me too! I just joined this site and made a post about this today. I am so anxious and just wanting to know....I got denied last year so I'm really hoping for better news this time. I got an 83 composite, 90 in reading, 3.8 gpa and all my gen eds done.

I hope you get in and more people comment!

Good luck you guys! I was in your shoes two years ago! I am in my last semester of Nursing at JJC. I know how nerve fraying the whole process is. You should know in a month or two! Good luck again!

Thank you!! Can I ask what your your teas score was to get in? I feel I'm in much better shape for this application I'm just so nervous!

And how is the program itself?? Any insight or advice would be awesome..which hopefully I will be able to use if I get in lol. Thanks in advance!

Just took my teas today! I got an 88.1 in Reading and a 90 in Composition. My GPA is 3.7. All of my pre reqs done except Micro which I am in right now. So excited to talk to other prospective students!! I wonder how long until we find out if we get accepted?

I wish I knew! I read that they will send info acknowledging the application 10-14 days after the closing period thru the jjc email account, but I don't know if that means the acceptance or denial letter?? or just they have the application...it's so hard to wait!

I applied last year and I wanted to see how I would do without studying and of course...wow the test was hard. I decided to pass up the 02-15-14 deadline and wait so I can study for the August 1-15th application period. I am looking forward and praying that I get in. If not I can take my scores to Resurrection University to apply for their 24 month evening BSN program. I am currently working on the last of my pre-reqs for a BSN program anyway. I'd rather go through JJC first but if I can't get in then I will try Resurrecton because the scoring is lower then JJC and they are an excellent school as well. Good luck!!

Do you know if the email tells us if we got into the program, or is it just an acknowledgment that they received our application? I am dying over here!

If its the same as last semester, which i think it is, the email will either be an acceptance or denial. I applied for spring and it came exactly 10 days after the deadline, that would be tomorrow. Im keeping my fingers crossed. This wait is horrible!!!

I know my girlfriend waited months to get a reply but this was several years ago when you didn't have to take the TEAS before the deadline to apply.

Every time my phone dings that I got an email, my heart stops! Hope everyone has good news soon!! Please post as soon as you hear anything!!
