Johnston Community College 2010 and TEAS

U.S.A. North Carolina

So what do you think that minimum score would be to get into Johnston Community College ADN program for 2010? I did just ok on my TEAS. I may have about 95 points total. But I scored 87% on the TEAS with a score of 83.5. One of my friends talked to admissions and she mentioned that in order to be competitive this year you MUST have scored atleast an 80. Also I am wondering when to expect letters of admission...or rejection....I am hoping to hear sooooon after the May 15th deadline to be on the Nurse Aid registry.

Well maybe we are runner's ups. And we might get our letter's on Thurs. or Friday.

I am not expecting a letter today. I will expect it Thurs. or Fri. and I am hoping that it will be good news.

I hope you guys do make it into the program. I am going to orientation tomorrow. I will let you know how it went. It will be interesting to see how many people are in attendance.

I changed my screen name by the way..i didn't realized that anyone that googled it could find my postings...So, i checked my mail today thinking the long lost letter would find it's way today but still nothing...The lady i called this morning said she will mail another one, which tells me that since one went out already that i probably didn't get in. I am thinking that if i was on a second string wait list, that that first one wouldn't have been sent at all.

Alternative letters are sent out at the same time that acceptance/non acceptance letters are sent out.

I don't mind not getting in to the program. I just hate having to remind folks to send my rejection letter. My husband says that he has never seen anyone so eager to recieve a rejection letter. I have to agree with him. The not knowing (yet knowing) is making me loopy.

Rejected "ouch" I knew it, but it still hurts.

I'm sorry Jennifer, but you can try again next year. A lot of people do not get in on their first attempt. Whatever you decide to do, I wish you the best of luck.

I wonder how much we are going to do as a whole group. That was a lot of people (to me!). I'm looking forward to getting started. :)

Dawn, I can't figure out how to answer your message LOL

I am in the first section.

We will have clinical on separate days. About 55 people were accepted. The class seemed huge to me also. We have so many things to do in order to be ready for school. I go for my physical tomorrow.
