Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to start a thread for those who applied to the DNP program at Hopkins. I recently applied prior to the early Nov 1 deadline. I noticed from last years thread that some applicants mentioned they had interviews already (at this time). Has anyone applied and been interviewed yet? Best of luck to everyone.

I submitted my application a few weeks ago. How long before yall heard back regarding an interview? I saw they are still accepting application even though the deadline has past.

Took about 5 weeks. They released  decisions a week ago to the early applicants and we have till mid February to make the deposit so maybe after then?

I don't think they've released decisions for the DNP-PMHNP applicants yet. Has anyone from that specialty heard back yet?

Nope! I submitted my application for this program in October. Interviewed with the director in November. She said we'd here back "by January at the latest.” It's now January 30th.... ah! Good luck! Maybe today or tomorrow

Guys I'm so sorry you're dealing with that.... I would be so frustrated. We heard back later than usual too... most years heard back the first and second weeks in January. Have they told any of you why it's taking so long? Especially since the other specialties have heard back already?

I called on Friday and I was so scared to !! The person in the admissions office asked for my first and last name placed me on hold for 10 min. She returned to the phone and said, "the decisions are being released in batches, you will hear back in the next few weeks."  Weeekkkss... I hope not. Hoping for today or tomorrow

I was waitlisted too! I'm feeling disappointed and surprised (but also grateful that it wasn't a flat out rejection). I wonder how big the cohort is?
