Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to start a thread for those who applied to the DNP program at Hopkins. I recently applied prior to the early Nov 1 deadline. I noticed from last years thread that some applicants mentioned they had interviews already (at this time). Has anyone applied and been interviewed yet? Best of luck to everyone.

 

Has anyone not heard back yet?

OR, if you feel comfortable, has anyone been denied admission?

 

I haven't heard back one way or the other and wondering if there is anyone else?

That is awesome! I have been living in Baltimore since Aug 2022. I am currently a student at Johns Hopkins in their Direct Entry MSN. I am also a dental hygienist so this a a second career for me. I have been practicing since 2009. My plan is to go into Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine. Excited to meet you and thank you for making the FB page ? Lets connect I would love to hear about your story and how its been as a nurse at JHH. I have my student residency practicum at Bayview in their adult burn ICU this semester. I am very excited.

Hey there.. did you have your application submitted, and verified in nursing CAS prior to Nov 1st? If so, you should have heard by now. I would call them and check in. If it was received after Nov1st... then I believe you should be finding out in a couple weeks. My deadline to make a deposit is mid February so I am assuming that in when the next round of decisions goes out?  You never know though you could hear sooner...

I have a friend who also applied to the Psych DNP program at Hopkins and he has not heard yet either... so maybe that speciality is still waiting to release their decisions?

I applied to the Psych DNP program as well and haven't heard back yet. My interview went very well. Hopefully we hear back from them tomorrow or early next week!
