Hi,

I have applied for and received an invite to interview at JHH on a pediatric unit. I figured since there are previous threads for past years I'd start a new one for 2020 hires/start dates! Lets all keep each other informed and updated through the process.

I didn’t ask a ton to the managers/charge bc I just kinda blanked on what to ask lol but when I was on the floor with one nurse it was a lot easier to ask questions. I asked about how long she’d been working there, what the turnover is like, best parts of working there vs worst.

I interviewed on a Tuesday and got a call from the unit manager that Thursday offering the job. I got a written offer from HR about a week after I accepted it with the unit manager.

How long did it take for you guys to get a link to complete references/get an interview confirmation? I was offered the opportunity to interview last Friday, but haven't heard anything else since I sent in my dates.

@rachelRN20 I got the invitation on Nov 4, then my interview date on Nov 11. The link for the references was sent to me on the 13th

@Notes95jWhen is your start date? I still haven’t got a reply from them but I guess it might be due to thanksgiving holiday. For your unit, do you know if they finished interviewing all applicants before they called you? I do hope they call soon because I received an offer from another hospital but hopkins is very much my priority. And @rachelRN20 you’ll like it! I interviewed for that exact position and everyone was super nice.

I start the first week of April but other people I’ve talked to who got different units are starting in March. I don’t think they were done interviewing people when they called me because they mentioned interviews were happening for the next few weeks but I’m not 100% sure!

Hey guys. I am interviewing in 2 weeks for 2 oncology positions. I was offered an interview to the ICU bridge but have not received the date and time yet. I feel very nervous... I live about 50 minutes away.
