Johns Hopkins Hospital Nurse Residency 2017

Hi everyone!!

I recently accepted a job at JHH in the nurse residency program on the MICU and I start February 06, 2017. I wanted to reach out and see if anyone else is starting then/ or around that date? Also what units, when your taking NCLEX and how your feeling nearing the end of school?! :roflmao:

Hello Everyone! I will also be starting as a new grad on July 31. I will be relocating but I'm having a hard time find a place that is both safe and not crazy expensive. Can anyone help me out? Thank you !

Hey Deavilaxoxo!!

Im starting Aug 28th so ill be moving next month. Some places that people have suggested to me are if you want to live closer to Hopkins; Fells Point, Federal Hill, Canton, Harbor East, Locust point. If you dont mind commuting a little you could try Howard county..like Columbia, Ellicott City, Owens Mills. I hope that helps!! I look forward to moving out there soon :D

Hey! Yes initially I'll be out in Ellicot City because I have some family there until I find a place closer To the city. I'll have to look at Mt Vernon once I get there. How's your paperwork coming a long and have u done your Occ health visit? I took the NCLEX on the 13th and passed so I'm sooo happy to officially be an RN and for that to be outta the way LOL. Just gotta get everything else together. I'm excited !!!

I am pretty much done with everything! I just have to get my ID a week before my start date and find a place where to live. Congratulations on passing! I took mine the 5th and I was so excited when I found out I passed:) Best feeling ever.
