Johns Hopkins Entry into Nursing (MSN) Spring 2022

Published

Hi everyone!

I haven't seen a thread for it yet, so I'm starting one for the Johns Hopkins Entry into Nursing program for Spring 2022. I started my application last week and hoping to finish it for the early deadline on July 1st.

Thank you for letting me know! I've been waiting to hear if anyone has gotten off the waitlist. I am on it currently. So anxious ?

I’m sure you’ll hear soon. I was given until Nov. 9th to to accept the offer. Good luck ?

Thank you and congratulations on the acceptance!!

Hi! this is my first time adding to this thread, I was wondering if you felt comfy sharing your stats? I just failed (LOL sadly) out of my BSN nursing program and im thinking of getting a public health degree and applying to jhu. is it very competitve?

Does anyone know what the acceptance rate is for the program? I applied for Fall of 2022, but couldn't figure out how many students apply and how many they take.

Hihii! I received my acceptance letter a couple of days ago ? In regards to the acceptance rate and such I'm not sure about those stats. From my knowledge, JHUSON really does take a holistic look at an application. Having a well-rounded app/experience does help.

Here are my stats to those who are curious... I graduated with 3.7 overall GPA, TA/volunteer experience, strong LORs, and worked various healthcare jobs (eventually becoming a nurse assistant). I think what helped my essays was fine-tuning my 'why', the plans for the future of my career, and how I wanted to contribute to healthcare/nursing/my community.

Hi all,

I'm actually trying to apply for JHU's Direct MSN program for the Fall 2022 cycle but was wondering if anyone in this forum can help me with a question I have about the timed video essays.

I reached out to admissions recently to ask if we would be able to know the video prompts before actually recording them and they said no! I was wondering if anyone had an inkling then on what the video essay prompts could be.

Well they’re finally pulling from the waitlist! I just got accepted today! I will sadly be declining due to already accepting and getting an apartment etc for Duke but it’s good news for those on the waitlist!! Good luck!!

I was accepted as well (off the waitlist). The cost of the program is too much and think I am going to go with my offer to Pace University. Not 100% sure though. Was anyone offered a scholarship or aid? I got 10k but I don't think it's enough. Good Luck to everyone else on the waitlist!
