Hi everyone! 

I haven't seen a thread for it yet, so I'm starting one for the Johns Hopkins Entry into Nursing program for Spring 2022. I started my application last week and hoping to finish it for the early deadline on July 1st.

I'm from Oregon, and I've never been to Baltimore before. The only time I've been to the East Coast was 2 years ago when I went to DC.

Did you guys fill out the covid portion and the sources of contact option where it asks, "what influenced you the most to apply to the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing?"

I have not as I just noticed it the other day. It didn’t have an asterisk near it so I skipped it but maybe I will since it is a question I’m sure they would appreciate was answered.

I ended up writing a simple, one sentence answer to that question.

I emailed them yesterday and they said “no these questions are not required for the application.” So I don’t think our applications will be looked at differently if we don’t answer it.

Good to know!! By the way, where are you guys coming from and what made you choose a MSN over an ABSN?! I am curious ?

I’m coming from California! I’m applying to both ABSN and MSN programs. Also, congrats!! I just finished up my first essay yesterday so I’m going to work on the second one this week. Quick question, for the achievement/certification portion on nursingCAS, did you basically copy and paste your resume onto there? I’m wondering if I’m suppose to type something new in the key description of my duties or if it’s okay if I could paste what I wrote on my resume.

Yeah, I basically copied the information from my resume onto that section. Also, California yay!! I am in NY, and also applying to ABSN programs. Congrats on finishing your first essay, good luck with the rest of the application!
