  1. I live ~5 mins away from campus and rent here is ~2k-3k for a 1 bed / 1 bath! Hope this helps.
  2. Thank you!! I got into Johns Hopkins for their MSN Program — I applied there because I don’t want to end at beside nursing. It’s a good option for long term (to transfer credits for a PhD or DNP.) I applied to pace because it’s close to where I live, they’ve got great faculty, and it is much more affordable (not as affordable as the SUNY schools though!). There are pros and cons for both options that I will have to weigh out!
  3. I just got accepted too! Hooray! I have to choose between schools and have lots to think about for the next few days. Good luck to everybody!
  4. Hey, can you give us the breakdown of how you concluded on this number? It seems like the cost is ~$20k per semester. There are 5 semesters. Meaning, it is around (slightly above) $100k.
  5. Joining!! ? I can't see it, haha, can you add a link here?
  6. Me too! Just got accepted! Need to decide if I can afford it ?
  7. Hey all, I applied to PACE as well ? do you know when we hear back? Good luck to you all!
  8. Hello! Thank you so much for your response! I am curious, when you say the location is a con, do you mean Baltimore itself or do you mean where JHU is specifically located in the city? Do you have recommendations on where to live within Baltimore? Also, all that you said is very interesting, I am currently trying to decide if I should go into this program or if I should get an ABSN degree instead. It seems like this program has great instructors and gives you great structure but also sounds like the cost is very high.
  9. Thank you for your quick response! Did you have a BSN prior to your MSN? Did you get a nursing job whilst in the program? Thanks!
  10. I was wondering if anyone out there graduated from this program, and what they are doing now after school. Was job finding difficult? Did you run into any problems with not having a BSN? Did you find the program prepared you enough for practice? Thank you in advance!!

  12. Hello all! Hope you are well. ? Does anyone know the total cost of the program?
  13. Yeah, I basically copied the information from my resume onto that section. Also, California yay!! I am in NY, and also applying to ABSN programs. Congrats on finishing your first essay, good luck with the rest of the application!
