Johns Hopkins Entry into Nursing (MSN) Fall 2021

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to start a thread for the Johns Hopkins Entry into Nursing MSN program for August 2021 applicants. I started my application this week, aiming to get it in well before the November 1st deadline . Anyone else??

Hello everyone, does anyone know the length of the program in terms of how many months it is? I know this seems like a silly question but I am struggling to find it on the website.

Someone correct me if im wrong but I believe they said it's approx 22 months so the fall 2021 cohort would graduate may 2023

Yes, amanda12 is correct. They confirmed the Fall 2021 cohort would graduate in May 2023. The five semesters are the following: Fall 2021, Spring 2022, Summer 2022, Fall 2022, and Spring 2023. The program (for Fall 2021 entrance) is approximately 22 months in length. It begins in the last week of August, but orientation is held a week prior to that. As a side note, the first 3 semesters is considered Year 1 ($68k), and since Year 2 has just 2 semesters, that is why the cost is lower than Year 1 (the tuition is not simply $68k x 2).

I can’t imagine what you all still waiting for results are going through. My group’s results won’t be out until March and I’m already sitting here with sweaty palms.

I've never experienced an application process like this.. ever. I really just cannot believe it.

I really don't understand why they didn't just tell all of us our decisions at the same time... it's honestly torturous

It is. My anxiety is through the roof. It feels like we've been thrown into a pitch black room and are told to feel our way to the door. I'm really starting to wonder if my app was overlooked or lost or something!
