Hi Everyone,
I wanted to start a thread for the Johns Hopkins Entry into Nursing MSN program for August 2021 applicants. I started my application this week, aiming to get it in well before the November 1st deadline . Anyone else??
Hello, I would love some advice from current students, alumni, or even applicants who know more regarding the direct-entry MSN program! I will be graduating at 20 years old with a criminology & criminal justice degree in 2021. I am condensing my undergrad classes and pre-requisites into 3 years, along with a dance concentration of 15 credits. I wanted to know if anyone else was a straight out of college graduate? I have read previous years threads and a lot of people seem to have work experience or have been graduated for long periods of time. Is this too ambitious of a goal for my age? Should I be taking a year off to work and build my resume or will they recognize my age and understand? I am a college athlete and my GPA should be between a 3.2-3.4 when I graduate. My pre-requisites about the same.
Good luck to others who have applied! Any guidance would be incredibly appreciated!!

You can go straight out of undergrad! My advice would be to study abroad or volunteer a lot. Anything that would put you out of your comfort zone.

I was wondering if anyone approached filling out FAFSA yet. I reached out to the financial aid office and they stated we have to apply as a 1st yr college graduate professional, not a 5th year undergrad student.
I submitted FAFSA!

Did anyone receive an email from Hopkins that they are reviewing their app? All I got was an email from NursingCas that my app was verified. Thanks!
I received an email. The subject is "Congratulations you are on your way..."

Hi! Did you answer the questions as following (assuming you only have a bachelors):
What college degree or certificate will you be working on when you begin the 2021-2022 school year? College graduate/ professional degree
What will your college grade level be when you begin the 2020-2021 school year? 1st year college graduate
and when did you submit your app? Thanks !
