Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I just completed my application for JHU Entry into MSN Nursing Spring 2020 application. I was waitlisted for Fall 2019 and was not accepted. Anyone else out there applying for a second time? Who has completed their application? Best of LUCK!

Did anyone receive their acceptance for Spring 2020 (May Start)? I got accepted today but clueless on the area since I am from California. Wanted to see if others have a better insight on the program/living situations.

Isn't the Spring 2020 program starting in January? I was looking at their academic calendar and looks like spring semester begins Jan 13? Can I get a clarification on that? ?

Hi I just got accepted!! Excited to meet everyone! I'm also coming from California!

Hi, Spring semester officially starts on Jan 13.

Hello fellow Californians!

I was looking to apply to JHU so I decided to pop in and see what the stats were and what not. I saw a lot of you are worried about housing/areas to live in.

I just visited my friends who are nurses at Johns Hopkins and they live in Fells Point and that area was fairly safe and nice to walk around. Her neighbors were telling me they lived closer to campus and got robbed so they moved to Fells. My suggestion would be to go scope out the area that you plan to live in before signing any leases!

Specializes in IT.

I read so many comments about GRE, JHP do not require GRE.

The requirements to MSN is tough as it is there is no need to add GRE too.

GPA, health experiences , essays and references in addition to pre req!

are there any tips/pointers for scholarships other than the financial aid package they give us? i plan to attend fall 2020, and figuring out costs ?

They didn’t offer you any scholarship at all? How much is the total tuition w/o scholarship?

yes I received a scholarship, but I still owe a significant amount. I was just hoping to find other scholarships to where I dont have to take out as many loans if i dont need to

Hey! Also just got accepted with a small scholarship and would like to know the amount of the program, I plan on giving them a call next week to see what they say, I'll let you know what the answer is and would be interested if you find an answer to this question :)
