Hey everyone!

I have interviews coming up at both Johns Hopkins Bayview (perioperative internship) & Johns Hopkins (OR). Can anyone tell me good/bad things about these places?

Thanks!

Jess

i interviewed at both and let me tell you bayview people were soooooo nice and down to earth as for main hopkins total opposite they thought you owed them something.

The benefits and the hospital at bayview are great. even the cleaning ladies and security were soooooo nice.

id say go for bayview you wont regret it.

Thanks so much! I just have to hope I am selected for the internship so that I HAVE a choice!!

I had a friend in school that worked at Bayview and really liked it. I would prefer that location also. Good luck.

I would echo what the other ladies have said. The location is MUCH better for parking and security.

I hear the campus is nice during the spring and summertime and you have the same Hopkins name on your resume without the stress of being on the main campus.

I also think the employees are a little more laid back at Bayview.

Good luck! Sounds like a great opportunity.

Thanks!

Now I think this hospital is first on my list of the many applications I've submitted!

Jess,

Will you be moving here or commuting? Its a fun area for young people.

IF I get the job, moving. I'd have to anyway, because I don't live close enough for call.

There have been other threads on nice places to live so check them out. I'd consider White Marsh if you like suburban apartment type living or maybe Greek Town or Highlandtown if you are interested in city row-house living. Welcome!

You're jinxing me! :nono:

I haven't even interviewed yet and you're giving me the job! What do you know that I don't?

I jest.

Anyway, I was thinking since I'm a young single female, I might find some roommates with a house or larger apartment so it would be cheaper and I can meet people. I am familiar with the White Marsh area. It is quite nice.

Thanks again for all of your help!

Lol, how could they NOT love you? No worries I have the feeling you will have your choice.

If you are going to have roommates check out Federal Hill and Fells Point also. They are expensive for singles but really nice city neighborhoods.
