Johns Hopins Accelerated BSN

Published

Hello everyone,

I am applying to JHU's Accelerated BSN program. I am wondering if anyone can offer any insight into how competitive the admissions process is, what GRE scores are considered good, etc.

Also, if anyone is/was enrolled in the program, any insider information would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Stacy

I'm just of the mind set that if they are going to turn me down, they should have just gone ahead and done it by now! I haven't applied to any other schools yet, so it would be nice to be working on other apps if Hopkins is not my future. Again, best of luck to those still waiting.

Yeah, it's really a drag not knowing through this whole weekend :(

What state are you in, kapeejay?

I live in Washington, DC. Should only be one business day of mail between DC and Baltimore, so It'll be even more maddening if I get a letter on Monday or Tuesday.

I'm out in California too and I still haven't gotten a letter. It had my hopes up for like five minutes before I remembered all the storms out east are slowing everything down. I'm still hoping but it's pretty hard not to give up at this point. My guess on the phone calls is they call you in order of your being accepted. I have this image of a pile of apps and as you are accepted they add you to the pile... That's what I'm hoping for anyway, seeing as how my last name begins with C. Sigh.

Hey California_girl_2009 - got your PM, but I can't figure out how to reply privately! Anyhow...hope today brings all of us good news!

Please post if you hear anything from JHU today!

Hello All,

I've also applied ED to the ABSN/MSN in FNP. This weekend has been a really difficult wait. Every hour seems to get longer while I'm here waiting for some sort of notification from the school. It's kind of a relief that I'm not going crazy alone. Hang in there, everyone who's still waiting. Hopefully, we hear good news soon!

I just got my call and was accepted for the ABSN/MSN. Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear!

Hi Everyone,

I received my call this morning around 11:30! I'm so thrilled after such an anxious weekend. I wish everyone who hasn't heard the best of luck (my fingers are crossed!) and for those of you that have been accepted I'm looking forward to meeting you in the Spring!
