Hello everyone,
I am applying to JHU's Accelerated BSN program. I am wondering if anyone can offer any insight into how competitive the admissions process is, what GRE scores are considered good, etc.
Also, if anyone is/was enrolled in the program, any insider information would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Stacy
Continued congratulations to those who have been accepted!
As I posted in the other thread... no letter yet, so I'm safe! I hope we keep getting good news tomorrow. Not sure how I'm making it through the weekend without full-on anxiety attacks
Questions for those accepted... I know you were probably way too excited to ask too many questions or even remember all that was said... but did you get any indication of how many ED acceptances were made? Also, did you all send in your applications before the deadline? I'm wondering if maybe they call in order of when the application was received. Or I could just be thinking WAY too much about this! :)
Do you guys know in which order could they be giving a call?1)Is it according to the completed application receving date? (OR)
2)GPA (OR)
3)Number of Pre-Req completed. (OR)
4)Those who visited open days.
I don't think they would be grouping applicants by any of those criteria. I still haven't received a call or a letter.
They are probably just calling people in alphabetical order based on the program that they were accepted into (for those of us also applying for the MSN, and you also have to remember, they are probably calling ED applicants who applied to the traditional track for the BSN as well). Lets hope no news thus far for us still waiting to hear is good news!

Agreed, kapeejay! I'm hoping that nothing in the mail yesterday was a good sign.
It's VERY interesting to find out that they sent an email if you missed their call. Why couldn't they just email everyone or send letters on the same day?? Having a hard time here!
Haven't heard anything and I sent my app the last week of Sept Obviously this is all speculation, but I would be really surprised if they spent the time to go back and be sure to notify people in the order that apps were received. Maybe I'm just trying to make myself feel better!!!!
Best of luck to everyone still waiting to hear - let's all hang in there!

I'm just of the mind set that if they are going to turn me down, they should have just gone ahead and done it by now! I haven't applied to any other schools yet, so it would be nice to be working on other apps if Hopkins is not my future. Again, best of luck to those still waiting.
