Johns Hopins Accelerated BSN

Published

Hello everyone,

I am applying to JHU's accelerated BSN program. I am wondering if anyone can offer any insight into how competitive the admissions process is, what GRE scores are considered good, etc.

Also, if anyone is/was enrolled in the program, any insider information would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Stacy

It was helpful. Thanks much!

Hi everyone :) I was on the waiting list .... but I just got a call saying they had a spot open! Hurray! I have minus zero idea of what I'm going to do next (re: finacial aid, apartments, ) but I have an exam this evening so i'm trying REALLY hard not to think too much about it until tomorrow!

Look forward to meeting everyone.

Congrats misava!!! I'm happy that you are joining the Hopkins crew! Will you be accelerated or traditional? :yeah:

I'll be accelerated! thanks :)

Congratulations! There is a Facebook group that has tons of information, including a recap of everything we learned at Accepted Students Day. I'm sure it would help catch you up, should check it out: Johns Hopkins University *Accelerated Nursing Class of 2011*

I am in for the Accelerated program as well!! =)

misava or anyone else who was accepted off the waitlist:

I was told I was accepted to the Accelerated program. However, I applied Accelerated BS/MSN...does this mean I am only accepted to the BS portion or both? I'm a bit confused. I would call Hopkins but the office is close and now I have to wait till Monday. ahh!

I think both possibly...but since you have to do the accelerated part first they only mentioned that? I hope that's the case for you. I didn't apply for the BSN/MSN but they said if I wanted to change, just let them know. But! I'm sure they'll let you know on monday.

Congrats :D I look forward to meeting you!

misava,

thanks for the response. i hope you're right. i guess i'll just have to wait till monday to confirm it.

and congrats to you as well! i am extremely excited to meet you in may/june! :D
