John Tyler - Fall 2016

Who is planning on applying for the JTCC programs for Fall, 2016?

I'm only applying to the hybrid track (thanks to my little kiddos at home, lol)!

Does anyone know if it's advantageous to apply to only one track or two both?

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. I hope all is well now.

Thanks for the information! Every little tidbit helps!

Nvizibl2 so sorry to hear about your situation :( It sucks you have to retake those classes but at least you will have a heads up in the information and know up will be successful in them. Hopefully that will make things a little easier for you. I didn't know we would all be together not matter which program.

Only a few days left (hopefully)! What are you guys doing to help pass the time?

I'm still checking my email frequently, and trying to complete things that I won't have time for in the fall - hopefully! And telling people I haven't heard yet, when they ask if I got in!

Thank you! Yes, things are starting to level out. I am sure you will get in. Can't wait to meet my new co-hort!

Thank you. Yes, hybrid and traditional have NUR111 labs together and, of course, clinical. NUR226 lab is just hybrid, if you are a hybrid student.

I should correct my last statement. All 1st semester nursing students have NUR226, but traditional stay with traditional and hybrid is with hybrid only. The main difference between hybrid and traditional is that hybrid does not physically attend lecture. Instead, lecture is mostly online (pre-recorded), as well as Blackboard Collaborate once per week.

If you look at the Fall schedule right now, it has all the NUR226 sections marked as Traditional Students Only in the fine print. Obviously a mistake, but I'm curious as to what which one the hybrid section will actually be, as that dictates which lab section (and thus day and time for your lab).

It is usually marked with an "R", I think. We had 226 lab on Thurs afternoon last semester.

Anyone hear anything yet?? I have my fingers crossed that maybe we will hear today instead of Monday...

No word here, but I like the way you think! That"nice" person who said the 18th sounds like the program director, she does have a pleasant, calm voice - maybe she did quote a couple days later than she expected just to be safe! I'm just gonna eat, drink and be merry until I hear!

Haha, I was thinking the same thing! I've been compulsively checking my school email to hear from the SofN, AND my personal email to see if anyone on this thread has heard anything...:roflmao:
