  1. Last year, I received my acceptance letter on April 20th, I think.
  2. It is usually marked with an "R", I think. We had 226 lab on Thurs afternoon last semester.
  3. I should correct my last statement. All 1st semester nursing students have NUR226, but traditional stay with traditional and hybrid is with hybrid only. The main difference between hybrid and traditional is that hybrid does not physically attend lecture. Instead, lecture is mostly online (pre-recorded), as well as Blackboard Collaborate once per week.
  4. Thank you. Yes, hybrid and traditional have NUR111 labs together and, of course, clinical. NUR226 lab is just hybrid, if you are a hybrid student.
  5. Thank you! Yes, things are starting to level out. I am sure you will get in. Can't wait to meet my new co-hort!
  6. Hello - I was a nursing student in the Fall of 2015 at JTCC, but had to withdraw right before the last clinical and finals, due to a major incident with a family member in a different state. I am able to re-enroll for Fall 2016 (I have to retake both classes b/c of the withdrawal - not because of grades - I had A's in both classes). I was told the acceptance letter would be going out very soon. Orientation is usually in May, so I think it would be sooner as opposed to later. I am going to be in the hybrid program, however, am looking forward to getting to know everyone in both traditional and hybrid - after all, we will still have classes and clinical together. Best of luck to everyone!
  7. I got my iPad. It is an iPad Air2 and has 128Gigs...don't know if we need that much, but it seemed worth it in the long run. I have an iPad 2 with 32Gigs for sale, if you know of someone who needs one. Only $125. Nothing is wrong with it and it has the Black Tie warranty at Best Buy until September.
  8. I am in hybrid track, however, the other ladies are in traditional, like you. First semester, we all have one hybrid class that is the same anyway. You can email me via @email.vccs.edu...kml2681 is my ID. Looking forward to meeting you. :)
  9. I live in 23114, close to JTCC. I, along with 2 others, have already agreed to form a study group. All are welcome. :)
  10. Rymanell and CaptainJennifer - we should connect at orientation, so we will be each other's support system for online classes. Maybe form a study group, if needed. :)
  11. Two girls in my A&P II class had not heard anything as of last night around 9p. I am sure it takes a while to send out all of the emails.
  12. Thank you! Hope you get in, as well!!!
  13. Rymanell - I will also be doing the Hybrid track. Congratulations to you!!!
  14. Hi, nicci-cole! I got my acceptance letter for the hybrid program this morning. Have you heard anything?
  15. Thank you, gracejeter!! :) I know for some people, if they don't get accepted, they are going to take (or retake) classes this summer. That is part of the reason for some anxiousness regarding summer registration. I don't have any more classes to take that aren't nursing, so I am good either way.
