Who is planning on applying for the JTCC programs for Fall, 2016?
I'm only applying to the hybrid track (thanks to my little kiddos at home, lol)!
Does anyone know if it's advantageous to apply to only one track or two both?
Anyone know the time of our NUR 226 orientation on Monday? I know it is after the first orientation, could have sworn I saw it somewhere and now cannot find it!
I got the printed versions too - thankfully the ebooks won't require me to lug them to class, but like some people said, I learn better if I have the book in hand!
Hi, the email just said the NUR 111 orientation is at 10:15 in Hamel Hall 109 and then after lunch is the NUR 226 one. I'm guessing they'll tell us in the 111 one what time specifically to be at the 226 one. Something I'm debating with is whether or not to get a tablet or just use my laptop. A 4th semester student I met in my CPR class said she didn't find much use for the tablet she bought vs just having a laptop. Said they don't take them to clinicals. Oh and I bought the hard copy books since I'm better with an actual book in front of me. But maybe a tablet would be space saving and faster for lab? I wanna get what others are using. Has everyone bought (or already have) a tablet they're gonna use??
I went with a Microsoft Surface, tablet size, laptop functionality, I love it. I'm looking at the course calendars, am I hallucinating or do we have NUR 111 tests scheduled during the NUR 226 labs? I also totally get why people don't work if they don't have to. I've got my printer working overtime to get everything in order for Monday!

Glad to know I'm not the only one who is feeling terrified!! Obviously I'm also extremely excited to get started but not truly knowing what is to come has got me nervous! I picked up my books today, all 30 pounds of them! Looks like we can kiss our social lives goodbye and accept that we will be reading during all of our "spare" time!
Did anyone else in the traditional track see the email this morning about NUR 226? She said that if we are in the lecture group she was sending the email to, we should be signed up for the Thursday afternoon lab only, but I was under the impression from orientation, emails from another professor, and when I signed up for classes that we could also do Friday morning. Anyone else have any info or insight??
