I've had friends that worked at pizza places, that even years after they quit, they still don't like pizza.

Funny...my sister worked in a bakery while I was growing up and carried that smell home with her. Most would like it, but I still can't stand the smell of doughnuts. :chuckle

well my job isn't horrible but it makes you and your car smell - guess i'm not pimpin lol. i'm a line cook and have been working in kitchens for 3 years - i think it was worse when i worked at the olive garden (garlic), it's not so much from eating the food, but it just seeps into your skin and clothes and don't get me started about the shoes (nonslip shoes pick up everything off the floor). my new car definatly doesn't have a nice smell anymore. plus the sweating, greas, burns, cuts, and bad attidudes make the job that much more fun.

can't wait 'till i graduate

I worked at the Olive Garden too! I loved it, but I didn't do the cooking. Any chance of getting the recipe to the alfredo sauce??? Please!!!! I'm not joking! Chalk that one up to things you didn't do when you had the chance!

OMG! I think every other alfredo bites! I worked there about 14 years ago, back before they would charge for alfredo with your breadsticks, and believe me, that's how I used to eat it then. Thanks anyway. I tried to make a beshmel sauce last week and it came out tasting like gravy. Poo!
