Job offer

Published

Hi everyone, I am a new grad, I just get a nurse job offer at a hospital and they told me the orientation will start in October and I will need to bring in all of my information (license, ss..etc) at the end of August. Right now I was wondering I didn't sign anything, it just a verbal commitment, is it possible that they will change their mind and hire sombody else? Thanks

Did you get a written job offer? Did you respond, accepting it in writing? If they're serious about hiring, there will be a written offer.

They just called me, and I accepted it, they also tell me to bring in all of my info next month, but no written offer

Yes they can always change their minds. Especially if there is no paperwork to seal the deal.

Hopefully they'll be putting an official offer letter into the mail. Which you will officially accept in writing.

They did mention if I can come in to the hospital to do preempolyment paper work on next week Monday, but I was going abroad on Monday morning, they say it's alright and I can do preempolyment paper work when I come back since new grad orientation wil not start until September

If you're antsy and want to decrease the possibility of missing this job, I strongly advise you to take care of all the paperwork sooner rather than later.
