job offer

I need some feed back I interviewed for a NP position, was told the offer was contingent on the interview with the MD who is coming from out of state had the phone conf this am, the chief financial officer stated they would get back with my recruiter this afternoon with an offer, I called the recruiter this afternoon she said they had the offer together that every one was in agreement about me that I would be a good fit but were waiting for the CEO to approve it and they could not get ahold of him so now I am wondering if they have changed their minds advice please

update so the recruiter calls me today to tell me that the CEO wants to have me phone interview with another md, it seems like they keep pulling my strings and making me wait for the offer should I just tell them that I am pulling out of consideration and to look else where. the recruiter told me that they were prepared to make me an offer but it has taken almost 2 weeks

Whats the job market like in your area? Lots of jobs or very few? I would keep this on the table but definitely keep looking.

very few for pnp's I just wish they would decide what they are going to do.

I would continue to keep my options open, especially in the economy. Continue to apply, and if the offer comes through great. If not don't be too didsappointed. It is difficult to find a job anywhere right now dispite what anyone says. Good Luck and I will pray for you.

This was the last reply from my recruiter "I am livid! Hereve is up to his neck trying to get physicians on board. He

is having a hard time coordinating all the staffing for this facility.

Bottom line, we are moving on. He stated he would need more time, and I

stated we were going to continue to look around and you had 2 places that

wanted you to come for an interview. So all this work for not a damn thing!

I am livid!!" when I called her she told me that he still wants extend an offer he just does not know when, he also told her he did not know if he wanted to change the offer to the ER or for the job I was first interviewed for either way I need a collaborative MD I feel like charlie brown
