Going for a home health cm interview. I know this question will come up. I am wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for questions. I've come up with two but I am a little iffy about whether or not they are good questions. Please respond. Thanks!

As I just resigned my HH job, a few questions come to mind that you should get answers to...
- will you be paid salary or per visit?
- what territory will you be expected to cover (mile wise I mean)
- will you have to take call & if so, how often (esp weekends)
Those are a few that are important to know...

I think people forget that just because they set an interview up to know more about you, you can interview them a little too. It's important to me that I am safe, successful and I'm able to learn more or grow in my skills when I'm thinking about my job. Safety, especially when out in the community- what measures does the company have in place to ensure safety of the workers? I also ask what qualities does someone need to have to be successful in this position- it gives me an idea of what the manager likes from an employee. And opportunities to grow- they usually ask where you see yourself in 5 years, you could ask them what they like to see out of their employees in 5 years, competencies, charge trained, precepting students, etc. - that might pertain more to floor nursing but I hope some of this helps.

Hi,
There are 2 questions I always ask: "What are the 2 biggest challenges/opportunities you/the company are facing/tackling and how can I help impact that?" And "What are the most important traits of your ?"
This shows you care about how you can impact the team/company goals and gives you insight into what's important to them!!!!! Ive only interviewed for a few "big" jobs in my life but each time the interviewer commented on them being great questions! Good luck!!í ½í±í ¼í¿»í ½í¸Š

What are the things that keep you here at this hospital?
How would you describe the nursing culture?
What is your nurse retention rate? How many new nurses in last year?
As a new nurse, what kind of growth opportunties would be available to me?
