Im just wondering if there are any others here that are planning on applying to Joliet Junior College in Illinois for the Spring 2016 start date?

Does anyone know how long the background check usually takes to come back? I submitted mine early last week and haven't received anything through email yet. I'm just worried I won't have the results by November 3rd registration ...

Once to take the drug test, you should receive an email 2-3 days after.

Has anyone had issues with getting their background check and drug test results back?? I haven't heard back and I've tried calling and leaving messages but no one answers. My last resort is to stop in tomorrow. I don't know what the holdup is but I'm so nervous since we are supposed to have it for tomorrow!

I would definitely call to see what's going on. I had the same concerns, but I guess both results come together in one email and I did my drug test after my background check so the results were a little delayed getting to me, too. The email with my results asked me to call 1-888-324-3251 if I had any questions or concerns. I would try that number! Good luck!

Thank you! Just called. They were behind but had my results and hadn't sent out the email yet. They just sent it for me. Phew, I was about to have a stroke...

LOL! It is nerve-wracking, I was freaking out too! I'm glad they sent them to you. Now you can breathe easy for tomorrow. I can't wait to meet everyone! :)

How do you all think you did on the essay? There was only one question which wasn't too hard. I think we all have a great chance at getting in! He said we will find out after October 15th if we are in or not. Good luck everyone!

Hi! Was there multiple essay questions? Any info you can share about the essay portion? I'm signed up to write the essay July 19th (2016) and I'm wondering how I should prepare for it!

I had to write the essay also! Just be yourselves and it'll be easy as can be! :) :) :)

I'm applying for the Spring 2016 start date. I'm going in today to write my essay.

Any info you can share about the essay? I applied for the spring 2017 start date and I go in to write the essay in 2 weeks. I'm trying to ask a couple people for some info so I know how to prepare! :)
