Hey guys, I had my interview yesterday and it was ok but the interviewer told me I will hear back from them yesterday but believe me till now have not back from them..This waiting game is killing me. .

Been in the Philly area over fifteen years, East Parkside neighborhood almost five, starting FACT in May 2014. I can also answer questions, including on how to get by in the not-so-nice but WAY more affordable areas. (Hint -- get an old steel road bike and a hefty u lock for day-to-day transit. SEPTA is unreliable, and downtown parking fees and PPA tickets will break your budget faster than all the textbooks.)

Any other locals wanna get together in early January? Maybe a Thursday "scrubs night" at the City Tap House? It'd be nice to meet folks BEFORE nursing "boot camp" starts!

Hey kayfactor, did u hear anything? I am accepted of may 2014 fact program. Super exited to meet my new friends. But still worried about long process in order to get in. Can anyone share how to arrang tuitions, means which bank has low interest for student loan?

hey guys, i just received an email that they can only put me on wait-list, I still dont know why, but I think it is because of my science classes(micro,nutrition,chemistry I) that i am taking now. Anyhow all i know is I will get in by the grace of God.

I will keep you guys posted. My finals for all my classes is next week.

Hi all! I was also accepted into the FACT program starting in May! I can't seem to find the Facebook page - can someone invite me? My name is Kait Sweeney.

Also, getting a little worried about finances... I still have undergrad loans I'm paying off and from what I've seen in my research, they don't offer a lot of financial aid assistance. Does anyone know of any good personal loans with low interest rates?

Feel free to ask me any questions about Philly - I've been living here for about 5 years and went to undergrad at PhilaU!

Michellepa -- I found FACT classes from previous years, and several other 2014 cohorts at TJU, just not the 2014 FACT class. Weird, no? Is there a way to post a link for those of us who are facebook-impaired? All else fails, I'll PM you with my facebook handle.

Kaitblossom -- I've got a line of credit through PFCU (12% interest), and may end up taking out a loan at PNC (can't remember that rate, but it's not great). Honestly, I'm leaning pretty heavily on savings and on zero-interest loans from the First National Bank of My Family.

Kayfactor - Got no idea why they made the decision they did, but I'm crossing my fingers for you. Finished finals two days ago; best of luck with yours.
