Hello! I live in Philly too and attend Thomas Jefferson University nursing program. I am still in final review and starting to get nervous that I have not heard anything. Does anyone know someone who has been in final review and never received a scholarship? Congrats to all who has received notifications of the scholarship so far!

alliesarang Thank you so very much! I will be contacting you soon since I will be coming out of state. I guess the biggest concern is where to live. I would love to live alone, but I will not be able to afford it so I will definitely need some roommates:) Kayfactor I totally agree with alliesarang. The interview was super laid back. They really want to know who you are and why you want to be a nurse and not any other health care professional. I am sure you will do great. I found out that I was accepted that same day so they may let you know immediately. If you do not hear back immediately, do not panic:) Good luck!

Hey Guys! @kgrl I may have to get your facebook info:) I was also thinking about jumping right into the NP program full time right after the BSN portion. When I spoke to the admission counselor he gave me the impression that a lot of students either work full time as an RN or go to school part time and complete NP school online too. Hmmm....it makes me wonder if we have to stay around the Philly area at all if we choose the NP route either part or full time. I like the idea of working as a nurse because I definitely need to start paying off my loans, but at the same time, I just want to be finished with school. Decisions, decisions........

Hey Kgrl! Congrats on being accepted! I will be moving from North Carolina and I do not have any idea what I am going to do about housing:/ I have some friends who live in South Jersey and they said that I should think about looking for a place to stay in South Jersey. I will let you know what I find out. I was thinking about taking out another unsubsidized loan for the program.....but I am not sure:/ Where are you moving from? I can't wait to meet you!!!! Hello Everyone! I was just accepted to the Thomas Jefferson Fact program starting in May! I am super excited, but also very nervous since I will be relocating from out of state. Has anyone else been accepted? I would like to start meeting my new classmates.:)
