Hello all! I am transferring from UAB to Jeff State after two unsuccessful attempts at getting into the nursing program over there! I just spoke to the adviser and will be applying with 224.5 points. I had 2 A's and a B in my pre-reqs, and studied for a month and got an 88.7 on the Teas-V. She said that my application was very competitive, and I find it ironic/surprising that I can be competitive at one program and "not on the radar" so to speak at another! Ha! I guess it goes to show that you should never give up on your dreams -- if one avenue won't work just try a new one!

Anyways, I know it's super early, but I couldn't resist starting this post!! I hope to make some new friends so we can help each other study and be the best we can be! Good luck to all!

I am at Lawson right now taking Anatomy I. Thanks. They require more classes than Jeff State. So Jeff State is my first choice. Lawson is my second choice.

ive been reading old posts and everyone seems to get their acceptance letters within 2-3 weeks. im so anxious to know!! are you guys checking your emails everyday like me?? good luck to everyone!

hopefully by next week we will find out! i read other post and they get it between 20-29. i put jefferson campus as my first choice and shelby as my second.

I'm hoping its next week also but I'm trying not to stress about it. What campus is everyone applying too? I put Shelby as my first choice.

Hi I applied for the spring also. I want the Shelby campus because it is closer, but any will be good. Does anyone know what the cut off is for spring usually? I am nervous and impatient about knowing.

Hi I've applied for Spring 2015. Good luck to all who have applied. I'm going to get in this Spring, lord willing. I applied with 181 I believe my points are right. If I don't h get in then I'm going for the next two semesters for admission. 2015 is my year!
