Hello Everyone! So I know that I am not the only one on here who has turned in the nursing school application and is now frantically biting nails awaiting a response...I applied with 200.5 points--Shelby Campus. How many points did you apply with? What things have you heard about the nursing program? Come on..dish!

How did you get into both? Im in at jefferson but want shelby. Does anyone know if shelby is harder?

@twopups I didn't get into both campuses, The question asked me if I got an email to my pipeline acct or to my personal email... My response was I got an email to both of my email accounts. I applied for Shelby campus and I accepted my admission to Shelby campus... LOL!

Does anyone know which campus is better? I must reply today and I haven't heard anything about either one. Why did y'all select the campus you did.

I got a call yesterday (Nov. 3). I'm going to the birmingham campus! Yay!

they asked me which campus I wanted to go to. I was like.."I get to pick any of them?" and the lady said yes whichever was most convenient for me. :rolleyes:

When I got my call they let me choose also....they said I was accepted at 4 different campuses and I could choose which one was the best for me. I know that as of yesterday afternoon they were not done with making all the phone calls so they are probably going to keep making calls today.....Good Luck!!!!

I got my call yesterday too that I was accepted! Congratulations to all of you! I got into Shelby campus. I hear Shelby fills more faster than Jefferson. They also asked me if I wanted Clanton or Shelby and I chose Shelby b/c it is much more convinient for me. Yay, can't wait to meet you all at the Shelby campus!

Hi everyone! I've been accepted to the Jefferson Campus for Spring 2012. Has anyone received an actual letter yet? I just got a phone call. And does anyone have advice on the cheapest places to get the CPR certification? I look forward to meeting my classmates. Congrats to everyone!

Hi logicalnonsense I will be attending the Jefferson Campus also.I took my CPR at the hoover fire station. I think it was $25. It took about 3hrs or so to complete. I don't think they mail out actual letters but we will get all the info at orientation. Hope that helps :)

Do I need to go ahead and do the CPR thing now, or do I have until we start in January?

Hi lalunita. They usually give a deadline for everything to be completed. We should find out all that info at orientation.
