Hello everyone. So since there isn't one so far I'll start a thread for the fall applicants. Post your scores, campus and if your applying for full time or part time

My GPA wasn't great. I think like a 3.2

Then i'm not trusting this point system, I had 43 points all A's in every class and I had Shelby days first but got Jefferson.

Yeah I completely understand your frustration because by the looks of it, you're a top competitor. Is it possible to get in touch with the nursing department or can we only talk to advisors?

Been trying to email Bonnie Bailey, she is the dean over it and sent out letters, her number is 205-856-6023 if anyone wants to give her a call. I am not getting anything though.

I don't know how they figure the points systems. I applied for Shelby Days and Jefferson Days. Shelby being my first choice. I'm just thankful for getting in and getting Shelby.

I haven't heard from anyone that got their first choice....I'd really like to know how they go about choosing which student goes to which campus. I did all my pre-reqs at Pell city and had Jefferson has my first choice & Pell City my second. I got into Pell City...it is closer for me but I was told by several friends that Jefferson campus was easier than the Pell City campus. I know the recent graduating class at Pell City had the least amount of graduates since it opened. I even questioned an advisor there about that, and he said there have been many questions and complaints about that. I'm hoping this new curriculum benefits us all. I'm anxious to see how much the books for this new curriculum are going to cost us though!

Two questions: is there anyone else here who got Clanton? Also, I'm curious about the fact that I've seen at least one here who has lower/same points and/or GPAs accepted than someone I know who hasn't been accepted at all. Should they expect a letter or are there other factors at play besides ranking points and GPA? I just am trying to piece together how this all is working. Any thoughts?

I got accepted into Shelby nights and I accepted my seat. I am wondering how much the books are going to cost! Who else is going to Shelby nights?

Jus4kemm, I got accepted into Shelby nights and accepted my seat. I only applied to the Shelby night program cause I work full time. there is a tab under the nursing program section, under prospective student on Jeff State's website that has a sheet of the estimated cost for the program
