I have 34 points possibly 37 points and will be applying to both campuses to the day program.... im so excited and can't wait.... also I'll be retaking the ACT for a higher score.

Are you completing your pre reqs at jeff state? What did you make on the ACT?

Yes, this is my last semester of pre reqs and all were at jeff state. I actually only made a 19 on my ACT, but Im hoping having all As for my pre reqs help me out.

I thought about it, but my anatomy class is on saturday mornings and we have a test every time we meet. So id hate to miss that class just to MAYBE get a point or two more on the ACT because I havent studied for it at all. So, Ill probably just go for it this semester and if i dont get in , retake it. I wish we knew how many points were competitive!

Hello everyone! I will be applying to both campuses for full time with 37 points and so far I have an ACT score of 19. I do plan on retaking the ACT to hopefully get an higher score. My hope is to get accepted into the night program, but it's whatever the Lord's will is for me :)

I'm so happy someone created this!! I'm applying to Pell City Campus as my main choice, Jefferson as my next, Shelby as my last. I scored a 21 on the ACT and I have total of 39 Points. 3.85 GPA. I really hope I get in. I heard this semester that so many more people are applying from other colleges due to their cut off for applications being to early at their home colleges. Mrs. Johnson told they are expecting over 600 applicants!!

Anybody heard other people talking about points and/or what a competitive point score is?

I've read on othere threads that follow the same point system and the lowest that I've seen accepted had 31 points.
