Jeff State Fall hopefuls 2016

Hello, this thread is for the Jeff State fall hopefuls 2016. Application deadline is May 12 @ 4:30pm. I applied to both programs, night and weekend program being my first pick with a total of 190 points. I Also applied to the day program with my three picks being Jefferson campus, Shelby campus and pell city campus last. I was admitted into the program before but withdrew because of a death in the family. Ive had time to grieve and im ready to rock and roll. Ive missed nursing so much and im so excited. For all the new candidates, nursing is hard. It demands of lot of attention. Sometimes more than a newborn infant. Stay grounded and lets complete nursing school.

I applied to all campuses with Pell City being my first choice. Applied with a 181. Advisor said I should have no problems getting in. Taking 202 this Summer and I'm praying for an A just in case I don't get in and I can reapply the next go around

Is anyone applying for the part time program? All I've heard is how it's harder to get accepted because there's only one location and a lot apply but I haven't seen many on here apply for part time.

I have applied to the Pell City campus for the fall with a 233. I am just wondering if anyone know when acceptance letters go out. I was told I would receive a phone call about acceptance before a letter. Has anyone heard the same thing?

Last year they didn't find out until June 24th. So I think we have a month of waiting left! I have never heard of anyone getting a phone call. You should find out via email. I would say you have a fantastic chance of getting in with 233 points. Pell City is my first choice too. I applied with 193 points and the advisor said I should have no problem. Good luck!

I tried to post a ranking sheet link for you. Google, how does Jeff State score applicants for RN program. Download the ranking sheet. Or you can call and ask for advisor and they will figure it for you.

Does anyone have plans to work while in nursing school? I am planning on working and going to school but I have heard it's impossible to work and do nursing school. Any thoughts?
