Jeff State Fall hopefuls 2016

Hello, this thread is for the Jeff State fall hopefuls 2016. Application deadline is May 12 @ 4:30pm. I applied to both programs, night and weekend program being my first pick with a total of 190 points. I Also applied to the day program with my three picks being Jefferson campus, Shelby campus and pell city campus last. I was admitted into the program before but withdrew because of a death in the family. Ive had time to grieve and im ready to rock and roll. Ive missed nursing so much and im so excited. For all the new candidates, nursing is hard. It demands of lot of attention. Sometimes more than a newborn infant. Stay grounded and lets complete nursing school.

After this semester I will be applying to the N/W Program for the Fall. I'm still trying to look for insight on the Jefferson and Shelby programs. I'm going to apply to both but I'm sure they are not exactly equal with them having different instructors. Have you heard anything about either location?

Hi! I have applied for the fall program. Already taken the teas test and turned in my app. Now just to wait and wait and wait haha. I've applied for the jefferson campus

Hi! Just applied about a week ago, I have 192.5 points.

I will be turning in my application on the 9th after I take the Teas test. I took it once before without studying and did okay(73%) but I really need to bring my points up to feel comfortable. Hopefully the difference from not studying to studying will make a big difference.

I'm sure you'll do well! I wanted to retake the TEAS, I got an 81.3, but the closest place to retake it was 5 hours away smh. hopefully I'm okay though!

192.5 points is pretty strong. I don't see you having a problem. I'm hoping to hit the 190's after my retake. I saw where others were accepted into the Summer program with 180 but the Part Time program is more competitive since most people work. Plus, they only offer it at the Shelby campus during the Fall.

I hope so, it's the only school in applying to that starts in the fall! I'm applying to the full time program at Jefferson and Shelby.

Well I submitted my application today for the part time program. I'm not really sure what happened but I ran out of time on the English section of the TEAS with 9 problems left. I always had extra time while practicing and the other time I took the test. I still made an 81% but I only have 186.5 points. I'm really not happy at all with my points but now there's nothing else I can do but wait.

I applied to the fulltime program at clanton campus with 187 points. Last year it looked like anyone who had over 180 got in. Here's to waiting and hoping!!
