Jeff State Fall hopefuls 2016

Published

Hello, this thread is for the Jeff State fall hopefuls 2016. Application deadline is May 12 @ 4:30pm. I applied to both programs, night and weekend program being my first pick with a total of 190 points. I Also applied to the day program with my three picks being Jefferson campus, Shelby campus and pell city campus last. I was admitted into the program before but withdrew because of a death in the family. Ive had time to grieve and im ready to rock and roll. Ive missed nursing so much and im so excited. For all the new candidates, nursing is hard. It demands of lot of attention. Sometimes more than a newborn infant. Stay grounded and lets complete nursing school.

I'm really anxious to hear. I feel pretty confident, but I just want to know already! Lol

I saw where someone got in this summer with 177. If I was applying for the full time program i would feel fine. I've heard around 185 is the cut off for the part time and I'm at 186.5. Of course I made an 89.2 in math so I missed out on 16 extra points by a fraction of a percentage. That was last fall and I'm still not over it. Haha. Have yall heard anything different about the part time program? About number of points needed?

I've been reading different threads out of curiosity and the anxiety to find some answers lol, but I saw that the summer and spring point scores are usually lower, and that fall was pretty competitive because more people apply. I'm so anxious to know something, and we most likely won't even know until the end of June :/

if anyone is looking for somewhere to stay while in the program, pm me! well hopefully we all get in and can consider this lol

Hey! I have applied with 193 points for the full time program. My first choice is the Pell City campus, then Shelby, then Clanton. I have also applied for Gadsden state, but I am REALLY hoping to get in at Jeff State. The person I gave my application to said 180 points is good, and over 190 is great. He said Pell City is normally the least competitive.

I applied to the Pell City campus with 192.95 points.

I applied for the fall program. How do they calculate the scores??

Bmichelle I might possibly need a place since I live in Georgia. What do you have??

Use this chart to calculate. And to calculate your total for the teas test, test score x 150 divided by 100. imagepng

It's easier to calculate your Teas score by simply multiplying your grade by 1.5.

Yeah I'm moving from NC. My aunt currently has a house she is looking to rent out, 3 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths, and she's willing to furnish it if need be but right now it isn't furnished.
