Jeff State Fall 2014 Hopefuls

Hey everyone! I know this is sort of early, but I am planning on applying for the Fall 2014 nursing program at the Jeff State / Center Point campus! Looking for other Fall hopefuls :nurse::up:

Littmann's stethoscopes. Very good quality!! All the way from the 30$ ones to 300$. Heard from numerous qualified people that those are the ones to go with.

I'm not sure what jeff states meridys is offering...

The ones on meridy's are more expensive than the other sites! I'm ordering from MediSave and doing the engraving. I've heard that if you don't get it engraved it has a tendency to "walk off"...

Alright, so...I don't think they mentioned this at the N/W orientation...When does the HESI test come into play? Someone mentioned we had to pay for it before we could be registered?? They only mentioned this to us when she was talking about all the expenses...????

I believed that we would have to pay for the HESI around the last week of August/1st week of September. That's what I wrote down in my notes from the N/W orientation. According to the calendar we take the HESI on November 13th.

Has anybody received the HESI code and tried to register on the Evolve website? I am having trouble.

I figured it out: You have to register for it (evolve will send you an email confirming registration) then, I went to a page called HESI assessment and entered the cohort registration code. It worked

I must be missing a page from my orientation package, i dont see a cohort number for the HESI and I'm not sure how to register for classes. Can someone please let me know? Thanks

Same here! I'm N/W so maybe that makes a difference? They talked about the HESI but I don't have any paperwork on it

So I have an update about the registration - she's working on getting us registered and hopes to have it completed by tomorrow. About the HESI exam - I'm still trying to get the Cohort number.
