Jeff State Fall 2014 Hopefuls

Hey everyone! I know this is sort of early, but I am planning on applying for the Fall 2014 nursing program at the Jeff State / Center Point campus! Looking for other Fall hopefuls :nurse::up:

Right.. The wait is so killing me right now. I have to put my life on hold until I find out if I will be in the night or day program. I have to make so many arrangements based off that letter. I have to find help with daughter, my lease is up and may have to find another job that will fit my schedule. Ugh.. i just want to know...something:-/

Did you apply for both programs? I only applied for night because day would be impossible with our work/kids schedule :(

Yes.. I just have to figure something out.. my parents help out alot with my daughter. I just have to make a way and sacrifices financially. I'm super motivated. I can't use the word impossible.

I'd probably have a panic attack if I got something from them in the mail right now! That's how they send rejection letters! That's just cruel! Lol

That's exactly what I thought it was! My first thought was "you gotta be kidding me!!! How high is the dang cut-off?!?" Lol

This is probably nothing, but I just checked my jeff state pipeline and under student information, it reads program: AS nursing. I can't remember what it said before applying....

I just checked mine.. It says AAS Nursing (Pre-RN). From what I've read before, I think that has to do with if you're finished with pre reqs or not? I may be wrong.. Are you finished with pre reqs?

Yes, I finished all required non-nursing classes minus speech.

I'm in Micro and Psychology now.. I hope it doesn't mean I'm not in :(

I don't think it matters! Mine has said AS nursing since I started school, before I ever started pre-reqs

There was a lady in my microbiology class that is friends with a lady at my church.. Well the lady from micro stopped showing up to class, so I asked the lady at my church this morning if she knew why.. And she said she received her rejection letter for the nursing program so she's going a different route.. Hmm? Has anyone else heard of anyone that got a rejection letter??

Hmmm I know they send early rejection letters if you don't meet the minimum requirements or have an incomplete application. I hate it for her, but since we didn't get one yet I suppose that's a plus lol
