any Jeff State Fall 2011 hopefuls out there??

I am taking the TEAS V Wednesday, so then I will know how many points I have!!! :)

Jeff states uniforms are white w/purple trim we do not order the purple ones. And if u are n/w u won't need to order until 2nd semester.

@ teejazzy, we don't need the life skills cd and all that now right for the n/w track?? just the pharm, health assessment, and calculate with confidence?

@MTAC0915..... i'm very confused about it at this point b/c i received an email last week from the office inquiring about books and they sent me a list with several books on it.. and then i emailed them back again today to inquire about the books again because it seemed as if some of the books listed are for N102 which we take 2nd semester... The lady emailed me back and stated that she checked with the lady that spoke at our orientation and she confirmed that the list was correct.

Really? Why does this have to be so difficult to get a straight answer?!! It clearly states on our schedule that 102 isn't until the spring so why would we need fundamentals material now? I'm gonna email again also and see what they say. SassyRN also said those three books would be all that we need. *sigh*

Ok ladies - I am in the night and weekend program I and didn’t receive any type of calculations sheet in my orientation packet or through email… A friend of mine is also in the night and weekend program and she said she didn’t get anything either. Can you tell me what it is? Maybe it's just for the day prog? I'm kinda freaking out cause I didn't get anything!

Also, what other books were listed that are needed for 1st semester n/w program other than the Calculate with Confidence and Pharmacology and the Nursing Process and the Health Assesment book? I just went by the books that were listed on the bookstore website.

@ JS Nurse 13, the drug calculations sheet is for the day program students. We are all still trying to figure out if there are more books or materials that we need. Haven't got a response yet. Those three books are needed for sure tho.
